What we do

Automated nature monitoring

Why we do it

The value of biodiversity

Biodiversity plays a critical role in maintaining natural ecological processes. Functioning ecosystems provide essential services for people, such as climate regulation, nutrient cycling, pollination. Further, biodiversity represents an untapped knowledgebase that may hold key insights into future solutions for e.g. medicine and biotechnology. However, we belive biodiversity has an intrinsic value in its own, and should be conserved on that basis alone.

Understanding and documenting impact

We help companies document the effect of efforts to promote and protect biodiversity such as installation of green roofs in urban environments. We use state of the art technology to collect ecological data at scales that are otherwise impossible. Our technology allows our customers realtime insights into the insights we collect.

How we do it

Hardware + software + expert knowledge

Tailormade technology

We develop hardware and software solutions that suit the task. We rely on image-based solutions for data collection and state-of-the-art computer vision and deep learning methods for data analysis.

Unique insights

Image-based real-time monitoring of insects provides information that would otherwise be impossible to collect. We can detect, classify, track, and count insect visits to the monitored area.
