CAN 3D PRINTED FLOWERS BE USED A POLLINATOR ATTRACTANT?

Standardizing resources can be important for comparison of results between sample locations. We are currently testing the feasibility of using 3D printed flowers for attracting insect visits to our BeeSee camera. Such a system would have the added advantage of providing a simple background for automatic insect detection and identification with our AI models, which can be challenging on natural backgrounds.
